Ok, I’ll try to make it short 🙂

First impressions

Loved it! It has been an incredible adventure that went far beyond my expectations 😇 I’ve been totally blown away by the beauty of nature and the diversity of landscapes, wildlife, weather, people… I think I saw more things in three months than I did in my whole life.
It’s weird when I take a look at my itinerary because I used to not know what to expect behind all those names, each name had its part of mystery, and now that I look at it, I can associate pictures and memories to each one of them 😇
And I got to say that it was pretty cool to always be on the move, never stay at the same place, drive exactly where I wanted and see new and different cool things every day. I’m proud of myself for having made it to New York on time, even if I honestly never doubted about my ability of doing so 🙃

Favorite part?

West, definitely. Arizona, Utah and Wyoming were my favorite places to be. Breathtaking landscapes, spotting amazing wildlife on a daily basis and living stress-free in the middle of nature. I would love to go back there in the future and spend more time to explore the area further.
And it seems to me that the locations I chose to spend the night have a lot to do with it. When you fall asleep under a red sky, a forest of pines or a sky full of stars and when you wake up in a red rock desert, within a canyon or at the mountain foothills… All of this made it even more unforgettable.

Any regrets?

I saw almost all the things I had planned and those I couldn’t see weren’t that important and were due to closures, so I don’t really have regrets in this regard. The only thing I would do differently is sharing this adventure with someone else next time. Being a solo traveller has its own benefits, but I miss not to have and value a woman opinion and see the same excitement I had on someone else’s face 😉

And now?

It was not the trip of a lifetime, but just A trip among others 🙂 I’m delighted to have finally completed this old dream and it was a good test to see what I was capable of… Life is beautiful and the world is huge and full of wonders. Can’t wait for another adventure!
